Every 3m x 3m square has its own three-word address, making it easier for trusted contacts or emergency responders to find you quickly—even in places without a street address.

Record video using your front or rear camera directly in the app. Videos are date, time, and GPS stamped, automatically uploaded to the BG Cloud, and can be shared through a sendable secure link. If service is unavailable, uploads begin once signal is restored.
How does BG AI Buddy work?
BG AI Buddy provides 24/7 audio-only support worldwide to help users feel less alone in uncertain or vulnerable situations.
How do Close Contacts work?
Assign 3 Close Contacts during sign-up who may be notified in the event of a threat or emergency.
How does BG Alarm work?
Trigger a loud audible alarm to help scare off threats or alert nearby people that you may need help.

When are trusted contacts notified?
Trusted contacts are only notified when you trigger a safety feature or emergency alert.
They are not continuously monitoring your activity or location, and neither is BG.
Your information is only shared when needed to help protect you or when you choose to share it.
Who can use BG?
BG is designed for anyone who wants an added layer of support in uncertain situations.
Users under the age of 13, under the age of 14 in South Korea, or under the legal minimum age in their country or territory must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use BG.
When is my location shared?
Your location is only shared when you activate a safety feature or choose to share it.
BG does not continuously track or share your location during normal everyday use.
This helps protect your privacy while still allowing support to reach you quickly when needed.
Who can access my videos or photos?
Videos and photos captured within BG are securely stored in the BG Cloud.
They may be accessible to:
- • you
- • your 3 pre-assigned Close Contacts
- • law enforcement in the event of an emergency
- This helps preserve important evidence and information when needed.
